Meet Andrea Arnold, B.A., MFT Resident

If you are searching for an inclusive, compassionate, and validating clinician? Then look no further. My name is Andrea Arnold, but you can call me Drea. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Resident looking to help empower and guide you to becoming the best version of yourself.

About me

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to receive my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Business from Cleveland State University. I made my way to Houston, TX in 2022 and have been here ever since. I am a huge advocate of mental health and want to contribute to breaking down the barriers and stigma within this community.

Am I a Therapist?

I chose to become a therapist because of my early interactions with friends in grade school, always lending an ear to help overcome social and personal challenges. As I expanded my research and began to become more curious and observant, I wanted to learn more about what encompasses a person’s responses, reactions, and thinking processes. Psychology and mental health was proposed to me in high school and the journey for exploring people’s experiences began.

My approach

In the therapy space, the client(s) are the experts of their lives. I will bring the skills and interventions that the research says is necessary for you to thrive! I am here to provide insight, validation, support, and psychoeducation. We’ll dive deep into challenges, make meaningful connections, and work to deduce healthy strategies for longevity.
